Careers at TeqEngine
Build systems.
Then run them.
Work inside client teams to build agent platforms, AI products, and the systems behind them. Bring your judgment from the first technical decision through running and improving the system.

The way we build
Good engineering
is a team sport.
We bring AI-native engineering into our clients’ teams. Engineering ownership spans the full stack: product judgment, interface quality, backend systems, and a working handoff. Direct agents through the work and stay accountable for the result.
Read our delivery model- 01
Bring your judgment.
Question the brief. Understand the user. Make the architecture and product decisions that help the whole system work.
- 02
Make the evidence visible.
Build with agents, then inspect the result. Tests, evals, and design review are part of the work from the start.
- 03
Leave it better to own.
Clear code, useful context, and an exercised handoff. Care about the person who makes the next change.
Find your contribution
Where you could make
a difference.
As TeqEngine grows, we’re adding a hands-on engineering lead and senior forward-deployed engineers who own work across the full stack. Both roles require an AI-native working practice. We’re also considering technical project management and sales development.
Let’s start a conversation. These briefs are invitations to share your interests and work. Location and work arrangements are discussed for each specific opportunity.
4 areas shown: All areas.
- Engineering
Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer
Work inside client teams, lead the technical work and build alongside senior engineers. Own the quality of systems delivered through AI-native engineering.
- Engineering
Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer (AI / Full Stack)
Work directly with client teams to build AI products and own complete features across interfaces, APIs, data and deployment, using agentic engineering.
- Delivery
Technical Project Manager
Help technical engagements move from clear scope to accepted delivery, with useful communication and visible decisions.
- Growth
Sales Development Representative
Find relevant companies, understand their engineering needs, and start useful conversations with potential clients.

Start with the work.
An introduction helps us understand what you want to build. If there’s a potential fit, we can explore the work and practical details together.
Make an introduction- 01
Tell us what drives you.
Share your interests, a little context, and a piece of work you’re proud of. A concise introduction is enough to start.
- 02
Show how you think.
A useful conversation starts with your decisions: the tradeoffs, what you checked, and what you learned.
- 03
Work through the fit.
For a specific opportunity, discuss scope, location, arrangement, and compensation before deciding on next steps.
Before you introduce yourself
Good questions.
Straight answers.
A little clarity before the first conversation.
What opportunities are you exploring?
These briefs invite expressions of interest. As TeqEngine grows, we’re adding a hands-on lead and senior forward-deployed engineers who work across the full stack. Technical project management and sales development are under consideration. Specific opportunities and arrangements are discussed individually.
What does forward-deployed mean here?
Work inside a client's engineering workflow: understand the problem with the people who use the system, make technical decisions, and build in their repositories and release process. Forward-deployed engineers own implementation across the full stack and help operate and improve what they build.
What does AI-native mean for an engineering role?
Both engineering roles require practical experience directing agents through software delivery. That includes supplying context, defining task boundaries, reviewing changes, and verifying behavior. You remain accountable for architecture, code quality, user experience, and the delivered system. Bring an example that shows how you work this way.
Where would I work, and what is the arrangement?
TeqEngine is based in La Jolla, California. We discuss location, time-zone overlap, employment or contract arrangement, and compensation for each specific opportunity. Include your location and preferences in your introduction so we can discuss a practical fit.
What should I send?
A short introduction and an example of work that shows your judgment. A public portfolio, repository, case study, or resume link is welcome. Explain your own contribution. A clear written account is also useful if your work is confidential; please do not send private client material.
Do I need to match a role exactly?
Choose the closest area or send a general introduction. Tell us what you do well, what you want to work on, and where you would need support. Engineering introductions should show your AI-native working practice and the systems you have helped deliver.
