Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 29, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how TeqEngine ("TeqEngine," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit teqengine.ai, submit a form, contact us, or otherwise interact with our website.
This website is intended for business visitors, prospective clients, partners, and candidates. It is not directed to children and is not intended for the submission of regulated, confidential, or sensitive client data.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Name, email address, company, project type, budget range, project context, and any other information you submit through the contact form or send to us directly.
Business relationship information
Information about prospective, current, or former client relationships, including communications, engagement context, service interests, and administrative records.
Website and device information
IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, and security or diagnostic logs.
Security verification data
To distinguish legitimate visitors from bots and abuse, we process technical signals such as IP address, request rate, and form-interaction signals. This anti-abuse processing runs within our own infrastructure.
Analytics and marketing data
If analytics, CRM, email marketing, or campaign tracking tools are enabled, we may collect campaign parameters, pages viewed, conversion events, and related engagement information.
3. Information You Should Not Submit
Do not submit passwords, production credentials, API keys, protected health information, payment card information, trade secrets, confidential client materials, source code, or regulated data through the website contact form. Sensitive project information should be shared only after an appropriate agreement is in place.
4. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries and evaluate whether TeqEngine is a fit for a potential engagement.
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and contact form.
- Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other security incidents.
- Manage business operations, pipeline, client communications, and administrative records.
- Develop website content, service positioning, and marketing performance analysis.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements or website terms.
5. AI-Assisted Business Tools
TeqEngine may use internal productivity, automation, search, or AI-assisted tools to organize business information, draft responses, manage pipeline, or improve internal workflows. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information through the website. Client confidential information, production data, and engagement materials are governed by the applicable services agreement, statement of work, confidentiality agreement, or data processing terms, not this general website policy.
6. Cookies, Security, and Analytics
The website may use essential cookies, local storage, server logs, or similar technologies for security, performance, functionality, and abuse prevention. To protect the contact form from spam and automated abuse we use rate limiting and bot filtering that runs within our own AWS infrastructure, which may process technical signals to verify that a visitor is legitimate.
If analytics or advertising measurement tools are enabled, we will use them to understand website usage, campaign performance, and service interest. We do not currently sell personal information, and we do not use website contact-form submissions for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is not a uniform industry standard for responding to those signals, this website does not currently respond to them.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with the following categories of recipients when necessary:
- Cloud hosting, infrastructure, and email delivery providers, including AWS and Amazon SES.
- Cloud infrastructure used for security and anti-abuse (rate limiting and bot filtering), operated within our AWS environment.
- Content management, analytics, CRM, scheduling, email, and business operations tools if enabled.
- Professional advisors, legal counsel, accountants, or similar parties when needed.
- Government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
8. Retention
We retain website inquiries, business communications, and related records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, managing business relationships, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect information submitted through the website. No website, network, or transmission method is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you.
- Request correction or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational limits.
- Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law provides that right.
- Opt out of non-essential marketing communications.
- Appeal or submit a complaint where applicable law provides those rights.
To make a request, contact us at hello@teqengine.ai. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
11. California Privacy Notice
This section is provided for California residents. We may collect identifiers, professional or employment-related information, internet or electronic network activity information, commercial information related to service inquiries, and inferences from website or business interactions. We use those categories for the business purposes described above. We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If the California Consumer Privacy Act or another state privacy law applies to a particular request, we will handle that request in accordance with the applicable law.
12. International Visitors
TeqEngine is based in the United States. If you access the website from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
